planting vegetables-by Sione
Planting vegetables
On Friday we went to the garden to plant our vegetables. My vegetables were carrots. I held a bunch of worms on my hand. They were slimy and cold.
We had to each get a plant but dig the soil first. Then we had to plant our vegetables gently. Then we spread egg shells around them to protect the vegetables from snails. It's good to grow your own vegetables because they are super fresh for us to eat.

Nicky visit
Nicky visit
Today Nicky from the ASB bank came to teach us about money. She even told us how to save money and how to get money.
Nicky told us a sad story about a boy who was poor. And she said that he was going to the rugby fun but he did not have money even his parent did not have money so he went to 10 neighborhoods and did a job of his own to get money. After that she even made us how to earn like selling our chores. Then she got Sonasi and Nino and Sililo. They had to hold these white sheets to help us to save money and how to buy something that is cheap or expensive. And it was very fun to learn about money. 💰

Show smart Relationship qualities-by Sione
CYBERSMART
Today Ms Collins put us in groups - 5 sets of 2 or 3 groups. Sonasi, Jacob and I were in one group. After that Ms Collins gave us 8 marshmallows and 12 spaghetti sticks.
She challenged our class to build the tallest food tower with what we were given. Sonasi and Jacob and I didn't think we would win. Mrs collins went around the classroom and measuring everyone's food tower. Our tower's measurement was 36cm. When we won my group got a huge prize and it was a chocolate. I learned that it is important to choose your group well so everyone takes part and not only one or two people.

All About Me 2019
Hi my name is Sione and I go to a school called St Patrick’s in Panmure. I am in Room 6 and a Year 5 student.I am proud to be Tongan. I have four brothers and two sisters and I am the second youngest. I am very good at Art and I enjoy playing soccer at school. I play touch rugby at school and I love it. I find writing challenging because it’s hard to finish on time. This year I want to be a good rugby player like my friend Cooper, who used to come to my school. This year I am looking forward to continuing being a great artist. My friend Alex inspires me to always try my best and he also makes me laugh. I want to share all my learning on my blog with others because I want to make it interesting for everyone.
